History
The first mention of the settlement dates back to 998 .
Until December 31, 2009, Görschen formed his own commune, which also included villages: Droitsen , Ratchevitz ( German Rathewitz ) and Schaiplitz ( German Scheiplitz ).
On January 1, 2010 , after the reforms, Görschen and other villages became part of the Mertendorf commune [1] .
