Nissan Rasheen is a crossover manufactured by Nissan from December 1994 to August 2000. It is the forerunner of the Nissan X-Trail . The prototype was first introduced in October 1993 at the Tokyo Motor Show . Built on the platform of the Nissan Sunny car and in fact is a versatile all-terrain vehicle.

The first cars were equipped only with the GA15DE engine (1.5 liters, gasoline, in-line, 4 cylinders), later, in 1997, two more engines were added: the 1.8-liter SR18DE and the 2.0-liter SR20DE . A manual gearbox was equipped with cars with a 1.5-liter GA15DE (an automatic one was also available for them). Versions of the Rasheen with 1.8 and 2-liter engines were only available with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

- The name of the car is somewhat reminiscent of the name of Russia in English (Russia), but according to one version of the Rasheen translates as “compass needle”.
