Biography
Augusta Maria is the youngest daughter of Frederick III of Holstein-Gottorp and his wife Maria Elizabeth of Saxony . Through her daughter Albertina, Frederick of Baden-Durlakhskaya is the great-grandmother of Catherine II .
On May 15, 1670, in August’s Husum , Maria married Margrave Frederick VII of Baden-Durlahsky , the son of Frederick VI of Baden-Durlakh . The spouses were born:
