History
First mentioned in 1474 [1] .
Previously, Nempitz had the status of a community (commune). It was formed on April 1, 1937 by the union of the villages Nempitz, Etzsh and Treben. The population of the community was 307 people (as of December 31, 2006). Covers an area of 6.06 km². On January 1, 2010, the Nempitz community became part of the city of Bad Dürrenberg [2] .
