Kathleen Nolan ( born Kathleen Nolan , real name Jocelyn Schrum ; born September 27, 1933) is an American television actress. Nolan is known for her role as the wife of Walter Brennan in the ABC sitcom Real McCoy, where she starred from 1957 to 1962. The role earned her an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a comedy television series in 1959 [3] .

The first role of Nolan was in the 1953-54 sitcom Jamie, after which she took on cameo roles in other television shows. After leaving Real McCoy, ABC gave her the lead role in another sitcom, Broadside (1964–65), which was closed after one season. Nolan has since appeared in Smoke from the Barrel , Big Valley , Charlie's Angels , Love Boat , Private Detective Magnum , She wrote the Murder , and Detective Rush , as well as in soap operas One life to live ”and“ All my children . ”
In 1964, Nolan joined the Board of Directors of the United States Actors Guild . From 1975 to 1979, she served as president of the guild, thereby entering history as the first woman president [4] .
