History
The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1388.
July 1, 2007, after the reforms, the cities of Bitterfeld and Wolfen , as well as the communes of Thalheim, Greppin and Holzweisig , were united in the urban district of Bitterfeld-Wolfen [1] .
