Biography
Born April 16, 1945 in Chkalov , in the Urals . He lived in Riga . He graduated from the Latvian State University , Department of Journalism.
He worked in the newspapers “Latvian Sailor”, Riga, Latvia ; "Lena Dawns", Kirensk , Eastern Siberia , Russia.
In Israel since 1978. Works on the Voice of Israel radio - RECA, editor-in-chief and host of the author’s literary radio magazine Evening Kaleidoscope.
He is a member of the editorial board of Priokskie Zori magazine. In 2003, he became a laureate of the Russian Literary and Journalistic Competition, established for the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg; 2005 - included in the long list of the Ivan Bunin Literary Prize; Laureate of the Russian literary prize "Golden Feather of Russia" in the nomination "Prose"; 2007 - Laureate of the International Good Lira Prize, established in St. Petersburg, in the nomination "Fiction - Large Forms"; 2008 - Laureate of the Bunin Prize, awarded with a silver medal.
