The Apostolic Vicariate of Puyo ( Latin: Vicariatus Apostolicus Puyoënsis ) is an apostolic Vicariate of the Roman Catholic Church with its center in the city of Puyo in Ecuador .

Territory
The Apostolic Vicariate includes the territory of the province of Pastas in Ecuador. The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary is located in Puyo. The territory of Vicariate is divided into 23 parishes. Serving 17 priests (12 parish and 5 religious), 9 monks, 56 nuns.
History
The Apostolic Prefecture of Canelos ai Makas was founded on October 4, 1886 on part of the territory of the Apostolic Vicariate of Napo. On February 19, 1930, it was renamed the Apostolic Prefecture of Canelos.
On September 29, 1964, the apostolic prefecture was transformed into the Apostolic Vicariate of Canelos by the bull “Apostolic Prefecture” ( Latin Apostolica praefectura ) of Pope Paul VI. May 18, 1976 she was renamed the Apostolic Vicariate of Puyot.
