Geography

The village is located near the Kostroma - Verkhnespasskoe P98 highway and the Kostroma - Galich railway line.

History

According to the Lists of populated areas of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Kostroma district of the Kostroma province . There were 4 yards in it , 10 men and 15 women lived. [3]

According to the 1897 census , 59 people lived in the village (28 men and 31 women). [four]

According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Shishkinsky volost of the Kostroma district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 13 peasant households and 79 inhabitants. The main occupation of the villagers, in addition to agriculture, was turning. [four]

Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was part of the Grudkinskoye rural settlement of Sudislavsky district. [5] [6]
