Geography

The village is located by the Voronikha River. [3]

History

According to the Lists of populated areas of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Kostroma district of the Kostroma province . There were 6 yards in it , 13 men and 9 women lived. [3]

According to the 1897 census , 64 people lived in the village (20 men and 44 women). [four]

According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Belorechensky volost of the Kostroma district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 15 peasant households and 83 inhabitants. The main occupations of the villagers, in addition to agriculture, were the work of bakers and pick-up. [four]

Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was part of the Mikhailovsky rural settlement of Sudislavsky district. [5] [6]
