Sports career
Since the mid-1940s, Jan Dreyer has been playing for the De Spartan club from Amsterdam before joining Ajax . His teammates Ef Withers and Jan Dietmeyer also joined the “red and white”.
For several seasons, Dreyer played for the Ajax reserve teams and only in 1953 made his debut in the first team. The striker played his only match on October 4 in the championship against Leeuwarden [1] [2] , substituting for the 23rd minute in place of injured Hans Boskamp . The meeting ended with the defeat of his team 3-0 [3] .
In the summer of 1957, Jan moved from the Ajax reserve to the De Wolewijkers club [4] [5] , which at that time played in the first division . Before the start of the season, on September 1, his team won a friendly match over the Zvols Boys - Dreyer became the author of the third goal [6] . As part of the club, he performed for two seasons.
