Description

According to the reviewer of the All Music Guide , "The Steve Howe Album" is "the culmination of all that Howe is, every genre of music that he loves so dearly, exquisitely plays and arranges." The album "in a country and bluegrass setting" features "the most powerful and original compositions" Howe. “The Steve Howe Album”, unlike other Howe albums, which greatly affected the sound of the bands in which he played, is original and unique [1] .

The recording of “The Steve Howe Album” was attended by former Howe bandmates Alan White , Bill Bruford and Patrick Moraz (they also participated in the recording of Howe's first album) [1] . The cover art for the album was drawn by Roger Dean .
