This list contains the museums of Amsterdam , included in the list of "Official Museums of the City of Amsterdam" ( Dutch. Overleg der Amsterdamse Musea , OAM) and some other famous museums of the city.
The OAM list, created in 1994, includes 44 well-known Amsterdam museums pursuing a common policy [1] . 40 of these museums are accessible when visiting with the Amsterdam card and all 44 museums are accessible when visiting with the Museumkaart and ICOM Card.
