Biography
Born in June 1864 in Bowling Green ( Kentucky) . In childhood, she moved with her family to the state of Tennessee, where she attended a boarding school in Clarksville. Later, she studied at Vanderbilt University .
She was a student at the American artist Ella Hergesheimer [2] ( eng. Ella Sophonisba Hergesheimer ) [3] .
In 1895, in the city of Colombia, she married Judge Edward Stacy Fowler from Tennessee and lived with him in the western United States. After his death in 1908, Francis returned to Bowling Green and continued her studies with Hergesheimer. Also in charge of a gift shop. She traveled a lot in Europe - she was in England and Italy where she studied art.
She painted mainly landscapes and still lifes.
She died on June 5, 1943 in her hometown.
