PRO C (Problem Children)

Before the debut of MADTOWN, Moos and Buffy were a duet of PRO C. They released the songs Bad Memory and Love Hurts. The duo logo was used for MADTOWN.

Career

Debut with a mini-album "Super Dedut" (YOLO).

MADTOWN debuted on October 6, 2014. They performed with their song "YOLO" on the stages of M! Countdown , Simple K-pop, Music Bank, Music Core, Inkigayo, Show Champion and The show. The title song stands for “You Only Live Once”

2015-2016 year. Comeback with the EP “New World” and “Emotions”

On March 9, J.Tune Camp released a teaser for the new mini-album on the official YouTube channel. On March 12, the clip “New World” was released. On the same day, the full EP album was released. In the spring of 2016 it was announced the return of the guys with the new album "Emotions". On June 20, 2016, a music video was released on the title track “Emptiness”. The next day, June 21, the entire album was released.

August 2016-November 2017: J.Tune camp bankruptcy and litigation with GNI Ent.

In August 2016, J.Tune Camp declared bankruptcy by closing the agency. They sold the management team of GNI Entertaiment for a measly 30 million won (less than 1.5 million rubles). MADTOWN also transferred to the new agency. In March 2017, the CEO of GNI Ent was arrested for fraud. Jota was engaged in the promotion of the group and participated in the show, he was also forced to take the staff home and pay all expenses from his own pocket, to make a schedule for the group. 800 people suffered because of the crimes of the head of the agency and the court seized all the property of the company in order to pay the penalty. In June, the group was forced to leave the hostel. All staff left the agency, but participants were still bound by contracts that ended only in 2021. In September 2017, MADTOWN filed a contract cancellation claim and won the case in November.

December 2017-February 2018: the next fate

Moose, Ho and Buffy decided to go their own way and left the industry. Jota and Ho Joon decided to take up acting, and Devon and Gon will continue to make music. On February 10, the final show of The Unit took place, in which Devon and Y Gon took part. Buffy enlisted in the service in the Marines November 20, 2017.
