History
The date of foundation of Utleben is considered to be 965, and in 1965 celebrations of its 1000th anniversary took place.
On December 1, 2011, the city of Heringen , as well as the communes: Auleben , Vindehausen , Utleben , Hamm, were united in the rural district of Heringen, and the management of Golden Aue was abolished [1] .
