Biography

Born on September 9, 1928 in the village of Zavrazhie, Parfenyevsky district, Kostroma region.

In 1959 he graduated from the art studio at the Kostroma Regional House of Folk Art [1] , in 1959 - correspondence courses at the Central House of Folk Art named after N.K. Krupskaya with V.I. Gruzdev and N.M. Kondrashin .

Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1968.

Honored Artist of Russia.

Laureate of the Regional Prize. Academician D.S. Likhachev.

Participant of regional, zonal, republican and all-Union art exhibitions, as well as foreign (in Washington, Los Angeles, Seoul, Tokyo, Piotrkovo-Tribunalsky, Munich, Durham, Hyvinkyaya, London)
