Story
The series tells about the special agent of the FBI, Olivia Danem, the mad scientist Walter Bishop and his son Peter, who research aspects of science “beyond the bounds”, such as telepathy , levitation , invisibility , reincarnation , genetic mutation and so on. There are a number of mysterious events called the “Model”.
The Model includes phenomena such as accelerated aging (a newborn child grows up and dies in a matter of minutes), inexplicable phenomena (the bus is filled with strange substance that instantly hardens, and passengers become like mosquitoes in amber) and many other anomalies.
It looks as if someone is experimenting with the whole world, and Olivia, Peter and Walter undertake an investigation of these strange events to determine their source. They discover the relationship of Model with a corporation called Massive Dynamics, which is a leading global research company, with many patents for new and important technologies.
As they investigate the anomalous phenomena, they will find out that there is a parallel Universe where there is another Olivia Danem and another Walter Bishop. Walter from our Universe upset the balance between the Worlds, taking away the terminally ill Peter from the parallel Universe. As a consequence of this, the “Model” appeared. But as it turned out later, all this is just a huge plan, which has long been embodied by "observers."
