Museum
The museum is named after the Van Lun family, who owned the mansion since the end of the 19th century. The house was built in 1672 by the architect for the merchant Jeremiah van Rey. The first tenant of the building was the artist Ferdinand Bol , a student of Rembrandt . Having changed a number of owners, in 1884 the house was bought by Hendrick Van Lun. The last representative of the Moritz Van Lun family in 1960 opened a museum in a part of the building.
The exposition presents paintings of the late XVIII - early XX centuries, most of which are portraits of a member of the Wang Lun family; tapestries by from Drakenstein Castle; antique furniture and porcelain dishes of Dutch and Flemish production with the emblem of the Van Lun family.
Several times a year, exhibitions of both contemporary and classical art are held here. In the garden, broken according to the drawing of the late 16th century, there is a garden house, which is a national monument of the Netherlands.
