Diane Martin James ( born Diane Martine James ; born November 20, 1959 , Bedford ) is a British politician , one of four members of the European Parliament from the United Kingdom Independence Party .

Biography
Born in the family of an engineer and a housewife.
She graduated from the Rochester Grammar School and the University of West London .
She worked in the healthcare sector for over 30 years.
In the 2013 elections , she took second place in Eastley , receiving 27.8% of the vote.
In 2014 she was elected to the European Parliament.
September 16, 2016 elected leader of the Independence Party [2] . After 18 days, she resigned, and on November 21, 2016 announced her withdrawal from the party [3] .
Views
