Geography
It is located 16 kilometers northeast of the city of Rzhev , on the highway “Rzhev - Tver” .
History
In the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries, the village of Pleshki belonged to the Maslovsky volost of the Rzhevsky district of the Tver province . In 1859 - 37 yards, 329 residents. According to the 1920 census, there are 72 yards in the village, 432 inhabitants.
During the Battle of Rzhev in 1942-1943, fierce fighting in the vicinity of the village was released on August 15, 1942. In place of houses in the western part of the modern village before the war, there was a separate village of Batyuki .
In 1997, there were 78 households, 228 residents, the central estate of Paninsky LLP (former state farm), a kindergarten, a club, a library, a first-aid post, a post office, a shop, a canteen, and a bathhouse.

Famous People
In the village of Pleshki, Hero of the Soviet Union Dmitry Semyonovich Molodtsov (1908-1943) was born. When breaking the blockade of Leningrad in January 1943, he died, covering his body with the embrasure of an enemy bunker.
