Niihara, Minoru

Minoru Niihara ( English Minoru Niihara ), March 12, 1960, Osaka , Japan )) is a Japanese rock musician, vocalist and songwriter of the Japanese heavy metal band Loudness . Minoru recorded 20 studio albums with Loudness, at the same time starting a solo career, releasing several works and in addition, took part in recording albums of such Japanese groups as Ded Chaplin , Sly , [[XYZ> A]] and others.

Biography

Born in Osaka. At the age of 18, Minoru becomes a member of the Earthshaker band, where he sang and played bass. However, he did not stay at Earthshaker for long - from 1978 to 1979 . Shinihiro Ishihara also played Earthshaker at that time, subsequently, along with Minoru, a member of the Sly band.

After 2 years, in 1981 , he was accepted into Loudness , in which Minoru recorded the most successful works of the group - Thunder in the East (1985) and Hurricane Eyes (1987).

In 1982 , Minoru also took part in Loudness guitarist Akira Takasaki's solo project, recording vocals for the songs "Steal Away", "Show Me Something Good" and "Say What?", Which were included on Akira's first studio album Tusk of Jaguar .
