Speaking about his own country, the artist said that with the advent of independence, Ukraine became tangible for its citizens, and not part of the empire, as before. He argued that we are becoming wiser from the teachings of Yaroslav the Wise, we admire the deeds of our hetmans and are proud that the first democratic constitution of Orlik was created precisely in our th country. He also recalled the culture of the sixties, who laid their lives in the camps of Vorkuta and Siberia on the altar of independence of Ukraine, then there was a referendum on independence and the constitutional night of 1996 .
