The idea of creating a water-green boulevard between the mosque and the Orthodox Cathedral belongs to the former akim of the region and the city of Eleusin Sagindykov . The construction was started in the summer of 2009, 894 million tenge from the budget were spent on this [1] .
The water-green boulevard in the central part of the city near the 11th and 12th microdistricts was officially opened on September 10, 2009 with the participation of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev . A year earlier, the presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia attended the opening of the Nur Gasyr Mosque and St. Nicholas Cathedral , which are located on both sides of the boulevard. This arrangement symbolizes the "spiritual unification of world religions and tolerance in society." Zakretdin Baydosov, on whose initiative then in honor of Nazarbayev the park was renamed to them. Abay in Aktobe, proposed giving the boulevard the name of the President of Kazakhstan.
On the territory of the boulevard with an area of 64 thousand m² there is an amphitheater with 170 seats, a color musical fountain “The Bowl of Plenty”, a memorial complex- rotunda , and the ensemble “Shanyrak” [2] .
