History
It was founded on September 18, 1991 in Western Slavonia, still subordinate then to the Yugoslav People’s Army . Remained there until July 12, 1992 [1] . After leaving Western Slavonia, she participated in providing a “corridor of life” as part of Operation “Corridor” [1] . In total, it was in battle for 1700 days.
During the war 23 thousand people passed through the ranks of the brigade, 223 of them died, 1700 were wounded, 11 were missing [1] . In the town of Rakovichke-Bar there is a cemetery and a monument to all the dead soldiers [4] .
