Dmitry Gennadievich Bakin (present last name Bocharov [1] ; January 13, 1964 , Chistyakovo - April 7, 2015 , Moscow ) - Russian writer. The son of a journalist and publicist Gennady Bocharov .

Biography
The writer was awarded the prizes of the magazines " Twinkle " (1989) and " Banner " (1995). In 1995, for the collection "Country of Origin" he became the winner of " Antibooker ." Published two books of prose. His works are translated in England, France, Germany and other countries [2] . Critics compared his work with the texts of Platonov , Camus and Faulkner (Bakin himself noted that Platonov’s work was discovered by writing all the texts of the collection “Country of Origin”). [3] [4]
From 1982 to 1984 he served in the Soviet Army [5] . He lived in Moscow in Dorogomilovo ; worked as a truck driver; led a non-public lifestyle (and, in his own remark, “never was present inside the professional writing community because he had a different profession” [6] ). According to 2007 and 2008, Bakin was working on a novel tentatively titled From Death to Birth , an excerpt from the novel was published.
He died in Moscow on April 7, 2015. He was buried in a closed columbarium of the Vagankovsky cemetery .
In March 2016, a memorable book by Dmitry Bakin “About the fall of the abyss” was published in Germany, which included, in essence, everything that he managed to write.
In 2017, he was posthumously awarded the International Bunin Prize with the wording “For a bright creative contribution to Russian literature” [7] [8] .
