In 1951 , in less than 15 years, he won the first prize at the Marguerite Long and Jacques Thibault International Competition . In 1960 , together with Serge Collot and Michel Tournu, he formed a string trio that performed for 32 years. Since 1969 , he played the first violin in the chamber orchestra of Jean Francois Payillard , taking part in a number of large-scale concert programs - in particular, performing all violin concerts by Jean-Marie Leclair in 1977. In 1984 - 2001 also was the first violin of the National Orchestra of the Ile-de-France region. He was a professor at the Paris Higher National Conservatory of Music and Dance .
