Located about 1.2 km south of Revillahihedo Island. It is approximately 18 km in length and the same in width. The area of the island is 332.57 km².
The population of the island according to the 2000 census is 1,447 people [1] , of which 1,375 people live in the statistically isolated Metlakatla area. Most of the population is represented by Tsimshians . The entire island is an Indian reservation (the only one in Alaska).
There is a network of dirt roads on Annette Island, which are the heritage of the forest industry of these places [2] .
