Haloo Helsinki!

It was founded in Helsinki in 2006. Her albums III and Maailma on tehty meitä varten (2013) became platinum. The single “ Maailman toisella puolen ” also received platinum, and “ Vapaus käteen jää ” received gold. The group set a peculiar record in Finland, as its four singles “ Maailman toisella puolen ”, “ Huuda! ”,“ Vapaus käteen jää ”,“ Maailma on tehty meitä varten ”) consistently occupied the top lines in the top list of Finnish radio stations. ^[one]

Creation and EMI (2006—2011)

In the fall of 2006, guitarists Leo Hakanen and Jere Marttila contacted Peter Kokljuschkin, who later became the band’s producer, and he helped them find Elisa Tiilikainen, the lead singer of Elly Haloo ^[2] . Later, drummer Jukka Soldan joined them.

In August 2008, a debut album entitled “ Haloo Helsinki! ". He immediately took the sixth ^[3] place in the official hit parade of Finland Suomen virallinen lista and lasted there for seven ^[4] weeks.

In 2009, the second album, Enemmän kuin elää , was presented at the annual summer music festival Kesäkumi ^[5] . He rose to seventh place and took him four weeks. ^{[3] [6]}

The third album, entitled " III ", was released on March 2, 2011. He reached the fourteenth line and remained on the charts of Finland for 36 weeks. On the 34th calendar week of 2011, he rose to the highest - eighth place. ^[7] The song “ Maailman toisella puolen ” from this album in the summer of 2011 became a hit and was among the most popular in the playlists of Finnish radio stations. She also became second among the most downloaded and third among singles. ^[8] The single sold over 12,000 and became platinum. ^[9] The album “ III ” aroused widespread press interest in Haloo Helsinki !. Haloo Helsinki! released the first three albums in collaboration with EMI Music Finland. After the release of the album " III ", the group stopped working with producer Peter Koklushkin (Peter Kokljuschkin).

Ratas Music (2012 - present)

In 2012, Haloo Helsinki! signed a new record deal with Ratas Music Group . ^[13]

The fourth album, entitled Maailma on tehty meitä varten, was released on February 4, 2013. Rauli Eskolin and Gabi Hakanen took part in the work on it. ^[14] For the first time, all compositions were written exclusively by members of the group. First single “ Huuda! »From this album was presented on November 30, 2012. ^[15] Just a few weeks after the release, the album went gold. ^{[16] [9]} Maailma on tehty meitä varten received double platinum status and remained in the hit parade of the Suomen virallinen lista for 69 weeks. Since December 2013, the group has been registered as Haloo Music Group Oy Limited Liability Company. ^[nineteen]

Haloo Helsinki! presented their fifth album " Kiitos ei ole kirosana " on October 3, 2014. The melodies are written by the band members, and the author of the lyrics is Elli Haloo. The disc was produced by Rauli Eskolin and Gabi Hakanen . The album immediately climbed to the very top of the Suomen virallinen lista and took first place. According to the results of sales, it became platinum. ^[20] The song “ Kiitos ei ole kirosana ” took 62nd place in popularity among Spotify users, thus entering the history of Finnish music ^{[21] [22]} .

The first concert tour of the group started in October 2014. ^[23]

The single “ Beibi ” from this album immediately after its appearance in October occupied the first place in the charts of radio stations. He was one of the most popular downloads on iTunes and Spotify in Finland. ^[24] .

After the release of the single “Rakas” on December 2, 2016, the group announced that on March 10, 2017 they plan to release a new album called “Hulluuden highway”. ^{[25] [26]}
