Career
Bradley Ellie was born in Barbados in 1986, but the main contribution to his development was made by the American coach Gregg Troy , with whom Ellie worked during training at the University of Florida .
In 2004, Ellie at the age of seventeen made his debut at the Olympics . in Athens, he played in two breaststroke and two complex disciplines, but did not pass the qualification round. The best result of the Barbadian was the 23rd place in the two-hundred-meter complex .
Two years later, at the Games of Central America and the Caribbean in Cartagena, Ellie became a triumph of the competition, having won three gold and one silver medal. In 2007, he became the bronze medalist at the Pan American Games .
At the Beijing Olympics, Bradley Ellie was the standard bearer of the national team at the opening ceremony. He performed in two comprehensive types of programs. Both times he qualified, but could not make it to the final race: at a distance of 200 meters he was ninth, and at four hundred meters - tenth.
At the Olympics in London, Ellie performed in three disciplines, but did not even make it to the semifinal round of the competition.
