Lyudmila Danilovna Sokolyuk (born November 16, 1937 , Kharkov , USSR ) - Soviet and Ukrainian art critic , art historian . A researcher of Ukrainian art of the 20-30s of the XX century, the works of Mikhail Boychuk and his followers (Boychukism, Ukrainian monumentalism), modern art. Doctor of Arts ( 2004 ), professor at the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts .

Biography
Lyudmila Sokolyuk was born on November 16, 1937 in Kharkov [1] .
She graduated from Kharkov State University named after A. M. Gorky (1955-1960) [1] .
In 1987 she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of art history . Teachers in art history - T. Alekseeva, A. Vereshchagin (1978-1983, Moscow ) [1] .
He works at the Kharkov Art and Industry Institute (KHPI, since 2001 - the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts ), since 1997 - professor [1] .
In 2004, she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Arts on the topic "Mikhail Boychuk and his concept for the development of Ukrainian art (first third of the 20th centuries)."
Lives in Kharkov [1] .
