Biography
Alexey Petrovich Andreev was born on November 11, 1896 into a Chuvash family [1] in the village of Toygildino (now the Muslyumovsky district of Tatarstan ). He served in the tsarist army, participated in the First World War. In 1918, Andreev volunteered to serve in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . For many years he served in various military commissariats in the regions of Soviet Russia and the USSR [1] .
In August 1941, Colonel Alexei Petrovich Andreev was appointed senior assistant to the head of the 1st Division of the Office of Spare Parts and Marching Replenishment of the Main Directorate of Formation and Staffing of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army, then he was a senior inspector, head of the same department [1] .
After the war, Andreev continued to serve in the Soviet Army. In 1946-1949 , he served as head of the Secretariat of the Minister of Defense of the USSR, then for four years he was an assistant to the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR. In 1953 - 1958, Andreev again headed the Secretariat of the Minister of Defense of the USSR, was an assistant to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR. In 1953 he was awarded the title of Major General [1] .
In 1958, Andreev retired. He lived in Moscow [1] . He died on May 4, 1975, was buried at the Vvedensky cemetery in Moscow.
