Church
It is part of the Celle region. Submits to the management of Watlingen. The population is 6079 people (as of December 31, 2010) [1] . It covers an area of 17.68 km². The official code is 03 3 51 021 .
History
The village, which for centuries lived only in agriculture, survived in 1900 with the construction of a potash plant a huge change in the industrial village. The number of inhabitants has increased many times and today's colony settlement of miners has arisen. The Miners' Union continues the tradition of miners today.
In 2007, Watlingen celebrated its 985th anniversary.
