Sitkinak ( eng. Sitkinak Island ) - an island in the Kodiak archipelago . Located in the western part of Alaska Bay , south of the southern tip of Kodiak Island . Tugidak Island is located to the west. Together, these two large islands, as well as a number of small islands, form Trinity Islands. Administratively, Kodiak Island , Alaska , USA . First noted by the Russian polar explorer Sarychev in 1826, then by Admiral Kruzenshtern in 1827 and finally under the modern name mapped by the Russian hydrograph Tebenkov in 1852 [1] .

It is part of the Alaskan Marine National Reserve . The area of the island is 235.51 km²; the highest point is 61 m above sea level. There is no permanent population [2] .
