Global Force Wrestling (GFW) is a wrestling promotion founded in 2014 by Jeff Jarrett , a wrestler and co-founder of the well-known Total Nonstop Action Wrestling promotion (now Impact Wrestling ).

History

In April 2014, when Jeff Jarrett left the TNA leadership, he created the new Global Force Wrestling promotion. Since then, he has promoted a new brand and established international partnerships with wrestling organizations around the world [1] . GFW had a strategic partnership with 25/7 Productions and David Broome (the creator of The Biggest Loser on NBC ). Broome stated that the organization plans to go on the air 52 weeks a year.

As of August 2014, GFW announced working agreements with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), several European companies, South African World Wrestling Professionals (WWP), and promotions from Australia and New Zealand

On April 20, 2017, on the episode of Impact Wrestling, Karen Jarrett announced that GFW and Impact Wrestling were officially united [2] . On June 28, 2017, Impact Wrestling acquired GFW [3] .

  • Team champions - “Bollywood Boys” (Gurv Sichra and Harv Sichra)
