Vyacheslav (Slavik) Leonidovich Kriklivy ( born Slavik Kryklyvyy , Zaporozhye , USSR , USSR ) is a famous Ukrainian ballroom dancer, winner of the world championship among professionals.

Biography
Vyacheslav Kriklivy was born July 1, 1976 in the city of Zaporozhye , ( USSR , USSR ) in a family of doctors. He was engaged in swimming for five years. In the fall of 1987, he moved with his family to Melitopol [1] , where he began to engage in a Latin American dance program. In the 90s. moved and performed in Kiev.
In March 1998, became the champion of Ukraine, a week later the champion of Belgium, paired with Joanna Leunis ( born Joanna Leunis ). Together with Joanna in 1999 won the silver of the World Cup, a year later the gold of the World and European Championship among amateurs according to IDSF. Known in the world under the name "Slavik" [2] . The unique peculiar style of dance performance by the dancer has become a "phenomenon" and a subject to follow.
After parting with Joanna, he moved to New York and paired with Kharkov- born Karina Smirnoff in the professional category. Together with Karina, five-time champions of America, bronze medalists of the World Cup. “Not everyone, even the best couple, managed to dance rumba so sincerely, so beautifully, and so deeply felt as it was danced by Slavik and Karina [3] .” As dancers and choreographers of dance scenes, with episodic roles, the couple played in the feature film “Let's Dance,” starring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez [4] . In 2005, the couple broke up.
From 2006-2007 He danced in Moscow together with Elena Khvorova, won the World Cup and the Russian Championship, silver medals of the World and European Championships. From 2008-2009 with Hannah Karttunen ( English Hanna Karttunen ) danced for Finland. At the UK Open 2009 tournament they became sixth. From 2009-2010 danced with Anna Melnikova in English , performed with demonstrations in dance shows. In the dance world, I remembered the dance to the song “Shaggy bumblebee” from the movie “Cruel Romance” , which was based on the couple’s competitive choreography. In sports, the couple won bronze medals of the World Cup and European Championship, closed the top five of the best couples in the world. In Moscow, at the “RTS Solemn Meeting”, the couple became the winner in the nomination “Best Debut of the Year” [5] .
He starred in a Danish documentary called "Ballroom Dancer" , which premiered on November 20, 2011 in Denmark. In Moscow, he starred in the short three-minute film “Proximity” for the “Parallel Lines” competition, organized by the Ridley Scott Association and Philips [6] .
In 2012, twice paired up with a native of Kharkov Daria Chesnokova and Ekaterina Lapaeva. Since 2013, she has been engaged in coaching and refereeing. In 2014, together with Karina Smirnoff, took part in the New York project “Dance Legends 2014” [7] and the Moscow project “Star Duet”.
