Biography
Calvin Graham was born on April 27, 1964. He began to actively engage in rowing in early childhood, was trained in one of the Queensland sports clubs.
He achieved his first serious success at the adult international level in 1988, when he became a member of the Australian national team and thanks to a series of successful performances, he won the right to defend the country's honor at the Seoul Summer Olympics , where he won a bronze medal in kayaking with his partner Peter Foster. twos at a thousand meters - in the final they were only beaten by crews from the USA and New Zealand. They also started with Foster in the doubles race at five hundred meters, but reached here only to the stage of the semi-finals.
After the Seoul Olympics, Graham remained in the main composition of Australia's rowing team and continued to take part in major international regattas. So, in 1992, he successfully qualified for the Olympic Games in Barcelona - he won the bronze medal in the classification of four-seater kayaks at a distance of 1000 meters, finished behind the crews from Germany and Hungary.
