History
The collection of the Central Statistical Committee described the village as follows:
JAVSHENYTSY - a former state village near the Kapshe River, there are 59 yards, 307 inhabitants; shop. (1885) [2]
In the XIX - early XX century, the village administratively belonged to the Krasnoborsk volost of the 2nd camp of the 2nd district of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province .
YAVSHENITSY - the village of Yavshenitsky rural society, the number of households is 70, the number of houses is 85, the number of inhabitants is 250 meters, it is 202. P.;
Occupation of inhabitants - agriculture. Creek. Chapel, Zemstvo school, 2 manufactory shops. (1910) [3]
From 1917 to 1918, the village of Yavshenitsy was part of the Krasnoborsky Village Council of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province.
Since 1918, as part of the Cherepovets province .
Since 1927, in the Tervenichsky village council of the Oyat district . In 1927 the population of the village was 138 people.
Since 1928, as part of the Yavshinsky Village Council [4] .
According to the data of 1933, the Yavshinsky Village Council of the Oyat District included parts of the modern village of Yavshynitsy , the villages of Krivopuzovo and Isachkovo [5] .
Since 1955, as part of the Lodeinopolsky district.
Since 1960, again in the Tervenichsky village council.
In 1961, the village had a population of 110 [4] .
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Yavshynitsy was also a part of the Tervenichny Village Council [6] [7] [8] .
In 1997, 8 people lived in the village of Yavshynitsy of Tervenichesky Volost, in 2002 - 13 people (all Russians) [9] [10] .
In 2007, 7 people lived in the village of Yavshynitsy of Alyokhovshchinsky JV , in 2010 - 17, in 2014 - 4 people [11] [12] [13] .

The village is located in the southern part of the district on the 41K-016 road ( Oyat - Plotichno station ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 14 km [13] .
The distance to the nearest train station Lodeynoye Pole is 62 km [6] .
