Strangers in the Night is a studio album by American singer Frank Sinatra . The release of the album in May 1966 was marked by the return of Sinatra to the first place in the pop charts [1] [2] . The album went platinum for over a million copies sold in the United States.

In March 1967, Frank Sinatra won two Grammy awards for this album in the Best Record of the Year and Best Male Vocal Pop performances [3] . The album was the last with the arranger Nelson Riddle and his orchestra.
The single " Strangers in the Night " throughout the week occupied the 1st place in the list of best songs [4] . The song “ Summer Wind ” was also popular and later used in television commercials in the 2000s.
In January 2010, the album was reissued - it contained three additional bonus tracks [5] .
