History

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Sharkhinichi was part of the Alyokhovshchina village council [2] [3] [4] .

In 1997, 409 people lived in the village of Sharkhinichi of the Alyokhovshchinskaya volost, in 2002 - 400 people (all Russians - 87%) [5] [6] .

In 2007, 362 people lived in the village of Sharkhinichi of Alyokhovschinsky SP , in 2010 - 313, in 2014 - 343 people [7] [8] [9] .

Geography

The settlement is located in the central part of the district to the west of the 41K-016 highway ( Oyat - Plotichno Station ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 3 km [9] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Lodeynoye Pole is 50 km [2] .
