Biography
Lukin Lev Ivanovich was born in 1892 in Moscow.
In 1910 he graduated from the Music College. Gnesins , in 1912 - the ballet studio of E. A. Elirov. He continued his studies at the Moscow Conservatory (piano class), in the studio of A. M. Shalomytova.
From 1920 to 1924 he worked in the troupe “Free Ballet Studio” (“Moscow Free Ballet”) that he created. As a choreographer, he was assigned to the "left" figures of the Russian avant-garde.
Since 1924 he worked in the Baku Workers' Theater, in 1936-1944 - in the Studio named after A. Duncan.
During the Great Patriotic War, he worked as the head of the Pacific Fleet Ensemble. After the war he staged dances for operettas, worked in a circus.
