“Salt of the Earth” is a documentary film by Wim Wenders and Julian Ribeiro Salgad about the Brazilian photographer Sebastian Salgad , released in 2015 . The premiere took place at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 [4] , in Russia - at the Moscow International Film Festival on June 22, 2014 [5] .

Story
The film is dedicated to the photographer Sebastian Salgad, whose son Julian is one of the co-authors of the film. The plot of the film is built around the relationship of Salgad with his family in the context of his work - comprehension through a photograph of the socio-political upheavals of the modern world and the lifestyle of different peoples [6] .
