The village is located 8.5 km south-west of Zheleznogorsk . Height above sea level - 203 m [2] . The nearest populated areas are the village of Borough and Azhovo , the villages of Kolodnoe and the Big Island .
History
In 1927 there were 15 courtyards in the village, 85 people lived (36 males and 49 females). At that time, Schek was part of the Azhovsky village council of the Dolbenkinskaya volost of Dmitrovsky district . In 1937 there were 15 courtyards in the village [3] .
