Sports career
From 4 years old she was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics. At the age of 11, her mother brought Masha to the Kik Fighter club for solo kickboxing songs in a group with the honored coach of the Republic of Belarus Yevgeny Dobrotvorsky. The first weapons that Masha mastered became paired nuntyaku. Then paired KAMA and later BO. She performed in soft style at the school of the Snake and Praying Mantis. After two years of training in 1996, she won two gold medals at the European Championship among juniors in a tough style with and without arms. In 1997, she performed with new compositions at the World Championships in all four types of programs at once and won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals. The most stellar year for her was 1998: three gold medals at the World Youth Games held in Moscow under the auspices of the IOC; three gold at the WAKO World Cup in Hungary; three golds and an absolute victory at the ISKA World Cup in Australia; two gold and silver at the European Championship in Kiev, and all this among adults in their 15 years! In 1999, Masha won two gold medals at the World Cup in Australia and performed brilliantly at the 2000 World Cup, winning gold in three sections of the program and again becoming the absolute champion in the Grand Champion section. In addition to performances in the solo composition section, Maria was a repeated winner of the Republic of Belarus Thai Boxing Championships in the 45 kg weight category. Currently, Maria Busygina completed her sports career. She graduated from the Republican School of Olympic Reserve, IPPK at BSUFK and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Married, has a son and daughter.
