Voev founded his first group "Paradox" in 1979 or 1980 [1] along with Kristian Kostov and Kiril Manchev. In the mid-80s, Voev participated in the jazz duet Wozeck. Then the third member joined the group and “Wozeck” was renamed to “Wozeck and Chugra”. The trio began to play experimental music . Wotzeck and Chugra recorded their albums in Pencho Popov's home studio. The only official album of the group "Pirate pigeons - Bulgarian. Pirate galbi" was published only in 1992.

In 1985, Voev, Vasil Gurov and Kirill Manchev created Kale - the first post-punk band in Bulgaria . Their first big performance was at the Sofia Rock Festival in 1987, but after the third song the police removed the band from the scene. Soon the group broke up. Vasil Gurov created the Review group, and Voev created the New Generation . The ima of Voev’s group comes from his poem “A New Generation of Zavinaga” (New Generation Forever). In 1987, the first album of the group was recorded - Entrance B, but it remained only as a demo.

In 1989, Balkanton released the first album of New Generation, together with the Control group. This record was the first of the Balkanton album series “BG Rock”. In 1990, the band played at the Berlin Songs festival. In 1991, Voev was the organizer of the Eco-Rock Festival in the city of Ruse . The purpose of the festival was to save the city from gas emissions from factories. [2] In the same year, the band released their second album, Forever. It included some of the most famous songs of the group - “Scorpions dance themselves”, “Patriotic song”, “Arlina”, etc.

September 7, 1992 Voev died. After the ego of death, an album was released in memory of the musician. The Nova Generation group broke up.

In 1996 and 2000, the Krug publishing house published two collections of poetry by Voev.
