Part of the Cuxhaven area. Subordinate to the management of Am Dobrok. The population is 717 people (as of December 31, 2010). [1] It covers an area of 21.62 km². The official code is 03 3 52 018 .
On November 1, 2016, Kadeberge and the neighboring commune of Hefersdorf are combined into one with the first name [2] [3] .
Coat of arms
Blazoning : at the head of the shield there is a silver coulter on a red background, at the bottom of the shield is a ship sailing on the waves with black sails and a red pennant on the mast [4] . The emblem symbolizes the traditional occupations of the locals in the past - plowing and sea trade.
History
The local mill of the 17th century is called the “Wrong Mill”, because its blades rotated to the left, in contrast to the usual rotation to the right [5] .
