First Games
The delegations of Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia and Romania participated in the first games in Paris. The games were successful. On August 16, 1924, the leadership of the sports delegations of the participating countries at the meeting decided to organize the Comite International des Sport des Sourds (CISS), the main goal of which was to establish a union of all sports deaf federations and develop their charter to establish and guide just appeared competition. In the same year, it was decided that games should be held every four years.
