Wildemann is the smallest of the seven mountain cities (Bergstädte) in Oberharz (Oberharz) and belongs to the Office of Oberharz (Samtgemeinde Oberharz), the region of Goslar (Goslar) in Lower Saxony (Germany). Wildemann is also called Klein-Tirol in Oberharz. The population is 1052 people (December 31, 2010). [1] It covers an area of 3.34 km². The official code is 03 1 53 015 .
Wildemann was founded in 1529. In 1534, the town received mining status and the right to develop minerals.
