Alexander Petrovich Byzov (born April 29, 1974 ) is a Russian and Kazakhstani professional hockey player . Currently, he is a coach of goalkeepers of the Amur Tigers youth club, playing in the Youth Hockey League .

Career
Alexander Byzov is a pupil of the Tagil hockey school. In the top division of the Russian season, he spent only 3 games. He spent the bulk of his career in the big leagues. Over 14 seasons, he played 292 games. He also spent 35 games in the first league and 35 games in the championship of Kazakhstan.
In 2007, at the World Championships (Division A) he played for the national team of Kazakhstan ; Kazakhstan team won bronze awards. After the end of his playing career, he became a coach. Since 2008, he has been training goalkeepers in his native club.
