Biography
He gained fame as a striker and captain of the Lahore College hockey team. Until 1946 he performed at the university level, then - for the states of Punjab and Bengal. From 1949 to 1958 He represented the Indian Navy, was the captain of the team (1952-54 and 1957-58).
At the Summer Olympics in London (1948), he participated in the preliminary round match of the match against Spain, which India won 2-0. He served in senior positions in the Indian Navy.
